Arys Oakheart is a character from the TV show *Game of Thrones*. He first appears in Season 2.

Ser Arys is a knight of House Oakheart and a member of the Kingsguard, sworn to protect the King.

He is assigned to accompany Princess Myrcella Baratheon to Dorne, serving as her protector and a representative of the Iron Throne.

While in Dorne, Arys falls in love with Princess Arianne Martell. This relationship leads to his betrayal of his vows and ultimately, his death.
